Daniel Fisher House
Built by Dr. Daniel Fisher, an owner of whaling ships who, during the height of the Whaling Era, was one of the wealthiest men in the country. In 1975, the property was acquired by the Preservation Trust and extensively restored and decorated as the first Martha’s Vineyard Designer Show house. Today it offers an elegant location for private parties and wedding receptions accommodating up to 50 people indoors and 250 outdoors under a tent.
