When is check-in time?
Check-in time is after 4:00 p.m. If you plan to arrive earlier, please let us know and we‘ll do our best to make your room available.
When is check-out time?
The check-out time is before 11:00 a.m. If you plan a late departure, please let us know your departure time and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs. Luggage storage is always available.
What is your cancellation policy?
The 2020 Risk Free Reservations Policy applies only to individual (none group) reservations (9 rooms or less), booked for arrival within 2020. Individual reservations may modify or cancel up to 24 hours prior to arrival without cancellation fee or penalty.
All reservations booked for arrival in off peak season, January 1, 2021 to May 27, 2021 and September 7th thru December 31 are subject to $100.00 cancellation fee regardless of when cancelled.
NOTE: Special dates with more strict cancellation fees of 30% of total deposit forfeiture if cancelled within 30 days of arrival include:
September 3, 4, 5, 6. (Labor Day)
October 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 (Columbus Day)
December 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 (Christmas In Edgartown)
All reservations booked for arrival in peak season May 28th thru September 6th are subject to 30% deposit forfeiture if cancelled after the booking deposit, and 100% deposit forfeiture if cancelled less than 30 days prior to arrival.
Is the Front Desk open 24 hours?
Yes, our Front Desk staff are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can reach the Front Desk by calling 508-627-9700.
Can I check my luggage?
Yes, we can look after your luggage. If your room is not ready at check-in we store your luggage. At checkout, we'll store your luggage so you can linger on the island a bit longer.
What is the internet connection?
Complimentary wireless internet is available property-wide.
Where is the nearest airport?
The nearest airport is the on island at Martha’s Vineyard - airport code MVY.
Can I rent a car?
Yes, you can rent a car from one of the local car-rental specialists.
Do you have adjoining rooms?
Yes. If you require adjoining rooms, please request them when making your booking.
Is there an elevator?
There are no elevators on property. However, we do offer bellman service.
Are there car parking spaces or a car park?
There is parking onsite and in our adjacent lot here in town.
How much does parking cost?
Parking on site is complimentary.
Are pets allowed to stay at the hotel?
For the convenience of all our guests, the Kelley House does not allow leisure pets. We welcome all service animals.
How far in advance do I have to book?
As soon as you have planned your trip! We sometimes have last-minute availability, generally the earlier you book, the lower the room rate.
Is it less expensive to book online?

Is the online booking procedure secure?
Yes, all bookings made on our site are secure.
Are the prices quoted per room or per person?
The prices quoted are always per room for double occupancy.
Do children stay for free?
Yes, children up to the age of 10 stay for free (accompanied by an adult).
Is it possible to have a cot or child’s bed in the room?
Yes, cots and children’s beds are available at additional cost of $25 per night.
When do I need to pay for the accommodation?
Payment must be guaranteed when you check in, unless agreed otherwise on the basis of the applicable rates.Payment of any outstanding balance is made upon check out.
Can I pay by credit card?
Yes, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and Diners Club cards.
Does the hotel have a conference room?
The hotel does not provide meeting facilities. There are, however, facilities across the street in which the hotel has a cooperative agreement.
Do you have a restaurant?
The Newes From America Pub and Restaurant (open year round), Myx Market Martha's Vineyard (open seasonally), and the Wave Pool Bar (open seasonally, closed for Summer 2020) are located onsite.
Is your pool open?
Our pool is open from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm daily. The length of time guests can lounge at the pool is limited and based on the number of rooms occupied, to comply with local health department capacity limitations. This is posted at the pool daily. Guest may not bring anything to the pool other than a personal item (no food, no flotation devices or toys) and bottled drinks only are allowed (no open containers).
